What Make IPHONE 14 PRO PRICE Don't Want You To Know

Here are some price-related rumors for the iPhone 14 lineup ahead of today's Apple event.

The iPhone 14's launch is likely just hours away. Numerous enhancements are anticipated for the iPhone 14 lineup, particularly for the Pro models. As Ped30 reported in August, predictions made by Wedbush analyst Dan Ives suggest that might actually be the case with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Apple will probably expand the costs of those telephones by $100 contrasted with last year's models due to part cost climbs and reputed enhancements, for example, a 48-megapixel camera and a notchless presentation, Ives assessed. The price of the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13 were identical, but Apple did not alter the prices of those two generations of iPhones. It stands to reason that more substantial enhancements might come at a higher cost. However, raising prices might make it harder for Apple to compete with Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy S22 and the upcoming Pixel 7 lineup from Google.

Cost of an Apple iPhone 14: What's to come?

The price of the iPhone 14 has not yet been officially announced, and Apple never makes information about its upcoming products available to the public before announcing them. This indicates that the pricing structure of the iPhone 13 as depicted below is the only hint we have.

In the years 2020 and 2021, Apple's pricing for the iPhone remained the same. It's not clear if Apple will raise prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max in 2022, despite rumors to the contrary. Things are also made a little more complicated by rumors that Apple might get rid of the iPhone Mini and replace it with a cheaper version of the 6.7-inch iPhone. Bloomberg, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9to5Mac), and Nikkei Asian Review have reported this.

The iPhone 14 Max is said to be the larger version of that new product that will be added to the lineup. It seems reasonable that the iPhone 14 Max might cost $900 if Apple keeps the standard iPhone at $800. If the iPhone 14 is priced similarly to the iPhone 13, it would fall somewhere in the middle of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

However, 9to5Mac reports that reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the so-called iPhone 14 Max will retail for less than $900, indicating that Apple may alter its pricing strategy. In the past, Apple has changed its pricing to stay competitive: The iPhone 11 of 2019 stood out for having a starting price of $699, which was $50 less than the iPhone XR of the previous year.
