Mahira Khan is a Pakistani actress and television host. She was born on December 21, 1982, in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her early education from Foundation Public School and later did her graduation from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

She started her career as a VJ on MTV Pakistan and later transitioned to acting, with her breakout role in the 2011 Pakistani drama "Humsafar". The drama was widely popular and was aired in several countries. The drama earned Mahira several awards for her role in the drama.


After the success of "Humsafar," Mahira appeared in several successful Pakistani films, including "Bol" (2011), "Bin Roye" (2015), "Raees" (2017), and "Superstar" (2019). She also appeared in several dramas, including "Sadqay Tumhare" (2014) and "Shukk" (2013).

In addition to her acting career, Mahira Khan is also known for her philanthropic work, particularly her efforts to promote education for girls in Pakistan. She is also a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan.

Mahira Khan has been honored with several awards, including Lux Style Award, Hum Award, and Pakistan Media Award for her contributions to Pakistani media.

In 2017, Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut with the film "Raees" opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which was a commercial success at the box office.

Mahira Khan is considered as one of the most successful and highest-paid actresses in Pakistan. She is also considered as a style icon in Pakistan.
